# Settings Portability

How to export and import all your RenameClick settings, presets, and custom instructions between devices or as a backup.

RenameClick lets you export all your settings to a file and import them on another device — or use it as a backup.

1. Go to Settings
2. Click **Export Settings**
3. Choose a save location
4. A `.rclick` file is created containing all your settings

1. Go to Settings
2. Click **Import Settings**
3. Select a `.rclick` file
4. Settings are restored and the app reloads

- **Import is blocked** while Auto Flow Watch is ON — stop all watching rows first
- After import, the app **reloads** to apply all settings
- Importing overwrites current settings (make an export first if you want to keep them)
