# Context Menu Integration

Set up right-click context menu integration to send files from Finder or Windows Explorer directly to RenameClick for AI renaming.

1. Right-click any file or folder in Finder
2. Go to **Quick Actions** (or **Services**)
3. Click **Rename with RenameClick**
4. Files are sent to the Rename Workspace for processing

Context menu integration is installed **automatically on first app launch**. No manual configuration needed.

Technical details:

- Automator Quick Action workflows are installed to `~/Library/Services/`
- Workflows are version-tracked and auto-updated when the app updates
- The Quick Action writes selected paths to a temp JSON file, then triggers the app via `renameclick://` deep link

If RenameClick isn't running when you use the context menu:

1. The app launches
2. Waits for the AI model to be ready
3. Then processes the selected files

1. The window activates and comes to the front
2. Files are delivered to the Rename Workspace immediately
